Let's Make Music!
Making Music Academy was created as a way to connect families and bring people together after the isolation faced in 2020.
Having completed two degrees in Voice and Music Education, Owner & Music Director Terrilyn Pickett developed a music and sensory play program for infants and toddlers, aimed at improving cognitive and emotional development through music.
We've been gathering with children and their caregivers for more than a year, and we love it!

Making Music Academy Tots
Get ready to sing, move, and play with your little one by exploring, creating, and moving to music in this instructor-led class.
MMA Tots is an early childhood music and movement program for children ages 0 - 4 where babies, toddlers and preschoolers come to make music, connect and learn with their caregiver and a music teacher.
Ages 0-5
Group Music Lessons
In our group music sessions, students will meet new friends with similar interests and form new social circles.
Practicing in front of peers in group settings can empower students, boost confidence, enhance creativity, build teamwork skills, and help students work and connect with others by learning music together.
Ages 5-12
Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons are perfect for children of all skill levels who are looking to gain a more in-depth understanding of music, all while having fun!
Our dedicated teachers provide quality lessons that ensure your child learns effectively, in a one-on-one setting. We offer lessons in ukulele, guitar, voice, piano, and music theatre.
Ages 5+

Early exposure to music reinforces core first-year developmental milestones such as eye contact, object permanence, and bonding.
Music can help babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers become aware of the sights and sounds around them, improving their language emergence, focus, and aural skills.
