Welcome to
Making Music Academy
A warm, welcoming space where music, community, and joy come together.
At Making Music Academy, music is more than a lesson—it’s a way of building connection, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. From your very first class, you’ll feel it: an inclusive environment where children and adults feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
The journey begins in early childhood, with the Little Music Makers program—where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers explore music through movement, rhythm, and play. As they grow, so does their musical path, supported every step of the way with engaging, student-centered lessons in Mini Musicians (Ages 5-7), or private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums, ukulele, cello, and more.
Music learning here is joyful, natural, and deeply personal.
Thoughtfully designed programs focus on progress over perfection—celebrating every step forward and nurturing creativity at every age. Along the way, students develop new skills, meaningful friendships, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the classroom.
Whether your child is immersed in our parent and child early childhood music class or confidently composing their own melodies as a teen, they’ll be part of a vibrant community where music becomes a powerful tool for expression, connection, and growth.
Located in the heart of St. John’s at 370 Torbay Road (Suite W100, Bally Rou Building), and proudly welcoming families from Pouch Cove, Flatrock, Torbay, Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, Paradise, Mount Pearl, and beyond—Making Music Academy is a place where music brings people together and where JOY is always at the center.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
